For your consideration, I present “June Baby”—a hen I caught my first summer fly fishing. I was chest deep in my waders and caught her on a dropper emerger. (Bonus points for guessing the fly in her lip!) The take was heavy as she immediately started spooling my line. I was so excited thinking I had hooked up my first nineteener! Once I netted her I convinced myself that she was.
Now, with years of experience fly fishing I see that she was more around that sixteen inch mark. Nevertheless, she was still a stunner!
"June Baby” is limited edition of 25 numbered and signed prints. Each are 8" x 12" with archival ink on watercolor paper. She compliments my other print, “Big Buck” quite nicely, as they face each other! They are framed beautifully in reclaimed wood, handcrafted, again, by my neighbor Bill. Thank you, Bill! There are many frame options like red cedar, knotted spruce, and several versions of live edge. Please note a request of wood for the frame at checkout.
